Oud Vietnam attended the Vietnam – Saudi Arabia Business Forum

September 11, 2023, Oud Vietnam made its mark on the international stage as it participated in the Vietnam – Saudi Arabia Business Forum, a prestigious diplomatic and economic event held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Hanoi, located at 2 Le Quang Dao, Nam Tu Liem District. This event, a joint effort by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, the Vietnamese Embassy in Saudi Arabia, and the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought together over 500 delegates from various government departments, investment funds, and business conglomerates.

The Saudi Arabia delegation, the largest business contingent from the Middle East to Vietnam, arrived with a keen interest in exploring collaboration and investment opportunities. Representing Vietnam were leaders from government ministries, local authorities, trade associations, and a myriad of domestic enterprises.

Distinguished figures in attendance included Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Minh Vu, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Mr. Mohammed Ismaeil A. DahIwy, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Vietnam, and Mr. Dang Xuan Dung, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabia.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang praised the initiative to organize this prominent trade and investment forum between Vietnam and Saudi Arabia, highlighting it as evidence of the unwavering commitment of leadership and the business community to elevate bilateral relations to new heights.

Ambassador Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dawhly of Saudi Arabia in Hanoi acknowledged the proactive role played by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as various Vietnamese government bodies and local authorities, in organizing diplomatic and economic activities, promoting trade, investment, and fostering business connections between both nations. He emphasized Saudi Arabia’s eagerness to strengthen friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam, affirming that there is ample room for further enhancement of trade and investment cooperation.

Ambassador Dawhly pledged to actively collaborate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese government entities to facilitate interactions between the business communities of both countries and explore new business opportunities.
