The International Art Exchange Performance is organized by the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations and the ASEAN Embassies in Hanoi. This event is not an opportunity for ASEAN members to exchange art, but they can still make connections and collaborate in maintaining peace and stability within the region.
The International Art Exchange Performance gathered Ambassadors, Charge d’Affaires, representatives from ASEAN member nations, Russia, Venezuela in Vietnam and representatives of the Central leadership, the city, a number of departments, branches, unions, unions and and a large number of people in Hanoi Capital.
In a discourse of significance, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ky, Chair of the Union of Friendship Organizations in Hanoi, underscored Vietnam’s pivotal role as the seventh ASEAN member in 1995. He emphasized this historical step’s enduring impact on Vietnam’s rapport with ASEAN nations, praising Vietnam’s contributions to collective growth and prosperity. He concluded by reaffirming Vietnam’s commitment to fostering a united, thriving ASEAN, driving bilateral and multilateral collaboration for global cohesion.
Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam – Denny Abdi, who is taking on the role of ASEAN Chairman in 2023, has expressed the importance of promoting a culture of peace and tolerance. He emphasized the foundation of friendly relations among nations as vital for successful regional growth. He also highlighted the cultural and social aspects’ importance in building a cohesive ASEAN community.
The International Art Exchange Performance includes elaborate and unique performances performed by Hanoi Cheo Theater artists and amateur artists from the Embassies of ASEAN countries.
