Hanoi, Vietnam – Oud Vietnam is proud to ready participation for the Catwalk 2024 event, a global initiative aimed at raising awareness for the conservation of Big Cats, including the critically endangered Arabian Leopard. This significant event, organized by Saudi Arabian Embassy in partnership with TAFISA, is set to take place on February 10, marking the first-ever United Nations-recognized International Day of the Arabian Leopard.
The event, held around Hoan Kiem Lake, saw the participation of foreign ambassadors, international agency chiefs, Vietnamese officials, students, and environment enthusiasts. Oud Vietnam, joining this global movement, emphasizes its commitment to wildlife conservation and public wellbeing.
Catmosphere, founded in 2021 by Princess Reema Bandar Al-Saud, is at the forefront of this campaign. The organization is a foundation that uses the stories of Big Cats and their conservation challenges to encourage people all to take action to address public wellbeing.
The Catwalk 2024 event is more than just a walk; it’s a symbol of global unity and a celebration of conservation efforts. Participants are encouraged to join this up-to-7km walk, symbolizing their support and commitment to the cause. In the previous years, over 90,000 people from 136 countries have participated in Catwalk, showing the vast global support for Big Cat conservation.
Oud Vietnam invites everyone to join us in this noble cause. By participating in Catwalk 2024, we collectively contribute to raising awareness about the plight of the Arabian Leopard and other Big Cats facing similar threats. This event is a unique opportunity to blend health, conservation, and community engagement in a meaningful and impactful way.
