Oud Vietnam’s Participation at the Trade Event with Indonesia

In a significant effort to bolster economic cooperation between Indonesia and Vietnam, Oud Vietnam attended a crucial trade event titled “Business Opportunities with Indonesia.” The event, organized by the Indonesian Embassy in Vietnam, aimed to explore and capitalize on the potential for collaboration in various sectors between the two nations.

As the Trade Attaché of Indonesia to Vietnam, Ance Maylany shared her insights during the seminar. She emphasized that Indonesia and Vietnam possess substantial potential for partnership and growth in five key areas: renewable energy, fisheries, digital economy, agriculture, and high-tech industries.

One of the primary objectives discussed at the event was the ambitious target of reaching a bilateral trade value of $15 billion or more before the year 2028. This target was proposed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chính during a meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo in Indonesia, and it highlights the commitment of both countries to strengthen their economic ties.
