Oud Vietnam was honored to participate in the 2025 Hanoi Craft Village Tourism Festival – “Festival Nữ Đại sứ Du lịch làng nghề Hà Nội 2025”, a vibrant cultural event held from December 25–28, 2025 at the Creative Cultural Space on Trịnh Công Sơn Street, Tây Hồ District in Hanoi. This prestigious festival was organized under the leadership of the Hanoi Women’s Vocational Education and Development Support Center, with strong support from government agencies, cultural institutions, and local authorities as part of the effort to promote traditional crafts and cultural values.
Celebrating Traditional Craft Villages and Cultural Identity
The festival brought together more than 200 exhibition booths showcasing the rich diversity of Vietnamese traditional craft villages, including iconic products such as pottery, silk, fashion, and local cuisine. It served as a dynamic cultural forum where the beauty of human creativity and handcrafted products intertwined, reinforcing Hanoi’s ambition to develop its cultural industry and preserve intangible heritage for future generations.
The event also highlighted Hanoi’s remarkable legacy of craft villages, with over 1,350 villages across the capital contributing significantly to the socio-economic landscape and providing employment opportunities, particularly for women artisans. It directly supported national policies and initiatives, including the Resolution 09-NQ/TU on cultural industry development and the comprehensive plan to develop craft villages in Hanoi between 2025–2030, led by government and civic organizations.
