1. How does the OUD VIETNAM Affiliate Program work?

In simple terms, an Affiliate Partner refers customers to OUD VIETNAM using their unique Affiliate link or code. When a customer places an eligible order and successfully completes payment, the system records the transaction and awards points to the Affiliate Partner according to the rules of the applicable campaign.

2. Requirements to get started

• Affiliate Partners must be at least 18 years old (or be a legally established and operating organization), have a valid Shopify customer account, and provide the required information.

• Affiliate Partners must have an appropriate promotional channel and agree to the electronic identity verification process.

• Affiliate links/codes can only be activated after the application has been approved by OUD VIETNAM and identity verification has been completed.

Important: Approval of an Affiliate account does not automatically grant access to every campaign. Each campaign may have its own eligible Affiliate Partners, products, markets, or promotional channels.

3. Campaigns, Affiliate links and codes

Each campaign is a specific Affiliate initiative with its own terms. Before participating, Affiliate Partners should review the following information carefully:

• Eligible products/categories and applicable markets.

• Campaign start and end dates.

• Point calculation method: a percentage of eligible revenue, fixed points per order, or fixed points per product.

• Pending period, campaign budget, Claim threshold, and available reward redemption methods.

• Promotional content requirements and exclusions.

Customer attribution rules

• If a customer uses a valid Affiliate code, that code takes priority in determining the referral source.

• If no Affiliate code is used, the system attributes the order to the last valid Affiliate click within the 30 days preceding the order.

Example: A customer clicks Affiliate Partner A’s link, does not use a code, and then purchases within the attribution window. If no other valid Affiliate source supersedes it under the system rules, the order may be attributed to Affiliate Partner A. Final attribution remains subject to OUD VIETNAM’s system and attribution data.

4. When does an order qualify for points?

A customer clicking an Affiliate link does not automatically generate points. The order must meet the program requirements.

• The order is placed through OUD VIETNAM’s official website/Shopify channel.

• Payment has been confirmed by Shopify.

• The system has correctly identified the Affiliate source.

• The order is not a self-purchase/self-referral, fictitious order, or transaction showing signs of collusion or fraud.

• The order has not been cancelled, fully refunded, charged back, or found to violate campaign conditions.

• In the case of a partial refund, only the remaining eligible value is counted.

Eligible revenue for point calculation: Generally, this is the product value after discounts and refunds. Taxes, shipping fees, gift cards, and any amounts/products excluded by the campaign are not included unless otherwise specified by the campaign.

5. How are points recorded and made available?

• Once Shopify confirms payment, points are recorded as Pending Points.

• Under the default mechanism in the draft rules, points are expected to become Available Points after 05 days if no exclusion condition arises.

• Available Points may be included in a reward redemption request (Claim), but they may still be adjusted if the order is later refunded, charged back, or determined to be fraudulent.

Simple example: An order has generated points for an Affiliate Partner, but the customer is later refunded. If the points are still Pending, the corresponding points will be voided. If the points are already Available, the system may create a negative adjustment. If the reward has already been redeemed, the negative balance may be deducted from a future period.

6. Claim – requesting reward redemption

Once an Affiliate Partner has sufficient Available Points under the applicable campaign conditions, they may submit a Claim through the Affiliate Partner portal.

• Claims are reviewed by the Affiliate and Finance teams before processing.

• OUD VIETNAM is expected to acknowledge receipt within 03 business days and complete its review within approximately 15 business days after receiving all required documentation.

• Available methods may include PayPal or Store Credit, but a method is considered available only when it is displayed/enabled on the Affiliate Partner portal or for the relevant campaign.

• Store Credit may only be used for purchases from OUD VIETNAM and cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.

• Affiliate Partners are responsible for applicable tax and documentation obligations based on their legal status and place of residence.

7. What must Affiliate Partners comply with when promoting?

• Content must clearly disclose the advertising/affiliate relationship, for example by using “Advertisement,” “Sponsored,” or “Affiliate Marketing.”

• Information about products, prices, origin, quality, returns, warranties, and related matters must be truthful and consistent with OUD VIETNAM’s official information.

• Affiliate Partners must not independently make claims regarding medical treatment, health benefits, certifications, rarity, origin, Halal status, or scientific matters without valid supporting documentation and approval.

• Affiliate Partners must not create the impression that they are employees, legal representatives, or official sales channels of OUD VIETNAM.

• Customers must make payments through OUD VIETNAM’s official channels; Affiliate Partners must not request customers to make separate payments directly to them.

Short disclosure example: “Advertisement/Affiliate Marketing: I may receive a reward if you make a purchase through this link or code.”

8. Strictly prohibited activities

• Making self-purchases or arranging for related persons to purchase through one’s own Affiliate link/code in order to earn points.

• Creating fictitious orders, colluding on refunds, or committing payment fraud.

• Using bots, click farms, cookie stuffing, iframes, pop-ups, forced redirects, or automatic redirects.

• Impersonating OUD VIETNAM, using misleading domains/accounts, or purchasing branded keywords without prior approval.

• Spamming emails, messages, or comments, or unlawfully collecting personal data.

• Transferring Affiliate links/codes, sharing accounts, or creating recruitment-based reward structures without authorization.

Consequences: Depending on the severity of the violation, OUD VIETNAM may require content to be corrected or removed, suspend an Affiliate link/campaign, place a Claim on hold, adjust points, lock the account, or terminate participation in the program. Affiliate Partners have the right to provide an explanation and submit a complaint in accordance with the Program Rules.

9. What should you do if there is a discrepancy in points or orders?

• Affiliate Partners have the right to review their transaction/point history and request an explanation for adjusted transactions.

• A complaint should include the Affiliate Partner ID, campaign/link details, order or Claim ID, relevant dates/times, and supporting evidence.

• Complaints regarding attribution or points should be submitted within 30 days from the date the transaction or adjustment appears in the system.

• OUD VIETNAM is expected to acknowledge receipt within 03 business days and aims to resolve the matter within 15 business days after receiving complete information; complex cases may take longer in accordance with the Program Rules.
