The 35th Anniversary of Vietnam-Brazil Diplomatic Relations with the Special Concert “Saudades do Brasil”

To mark the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Federative Republic of Brazil, a spectacular concert titled “Saudades do Brasil” will be held, featuring the Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO) under the baton of renowned conductor Olivier Ochanine.

This extraordinary event will also showcase the exceptional talent of Brazilian pianist Cristian Budu, a rising star in the world of classical music. Winner of the prestigious Clara Haskil International Piano Competition, where he received both the Grand Prize and the Audience Prize, Cristian Budu has garnered global acclaim for his artistry. His recordings have earned a spot on Gramophone’s “Top 10” for Beethoven and Chopin works, with his Chopin interpretations ranked among the “Top 50 Greatest Chopin Recordings” of all time.

Budu has performed with major orchestras worldwide and received critical praise for his solo albums. Beyond his international achievements, he is deeply committed to nurturing music in Brazil through Pianosofia, a project dedicated to promoting local musicians and chamber music.
