On June 14th, the Saudi Arabian Embassy, in collaboration with the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized the International Camel Day (June 22nd) with the theme “The Role of Camels in Saudi Arabian Cultural Heritage,” celebrating the Year of the Camel 2024.
This event, held for the first time in Vietnam, aims to honor the historical, cultural, and economic values of camels while enhancing the understanding of their role, value, and significance in the lives of Arab communities. It also highlights the efforts of Saudi Arabia in preserving and promoting camel heritage to maintain and develop national identity.
The event is organized to consolidate and promote the heritage values associated with camels in Saudi Arabian culture specifically, as well as in Arab and Islamic cultures more broadly. Additionally, it introduces an integrated economic system for auctions and industries related to camels, increasing benefits for society and those interested in this rich Arab heritage.
Oud Vietnam, a leading company in the production and trade of agarwood, proudly participated in the International Camel Day Event. By joining this celebration, Oud Vietnam reinforces its position in the international market and builds connections across cultures. The company’s participation underscores its commitment to cultural exchange and highlights the importance of preserving heritage while fostering global business relations. This event marks a significant step in enhancing Oud Vietnam’s global presence and fostering cooperation between Vietnam and the Arab world.
