On November 27, 2024, the Vietnam – U.S. Business Summit took place in Hanoi. The event was co-organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham), and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington.
The summit welcomed prominent leaders from Vietnamese ministries and agencies, the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, and ambassadors from various countries. Key business leaders from both nations also participated. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and former U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman joined the event virtually.
In this event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh addressed the summit for the third consecutive time. He emphasized Vietnam’s focus on the digital economy, green economy, and innovation. He called for deeper cooperation in supply chains, technology transfer, and large-scale U.S. investments in Vietnam.
