India-Vietnam Multi-Sector Business Meeting Event

On the afternoon of July 16th, a delegation of Indian businesses, led by the Federation of Indian Industry (FII), met with Vietnamese companies to explore trade and investment opportunities. This significant event, organized by the Indian Embassy in Vietnam, was attended by Deputy Director General of the Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Nguyen Anh Tuan, along with numerous businesses from both countries engaged in various sectors including pharmaceuticals, agriculture, information technology, and manufacturing.

In his opening speech, Indian Deputy Ambassador to Vietnam, Subhash Gupta, expressed a strong desire to enhance economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Vietnamese and Indian businesses. This is rooted in the close political ties and long-standing cultural relationship shared by both nations.

With its rapid economic growth and youthful workforce, Vietnam has become a crucial partner for India in the strategic vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aimed at ensuring security and prosperity for all countries in the region. The Federation of Indian Industry is actively supporting its member businesses in seeking opportunities to expand collaboration and development with Vietnamese enterprises.
